For many years, the CDIPD has maintained strong interactions with Brazilian educational and research institutions, particularly in hosting students and post-doctoral scientists supported by such entities as the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), and the The São Paulo Research Foundation, (FAPESP).  In addition to to their amazing expertise in various infectious diseases, they bring a vibrancy and panache to our research environment that’s hard to beat!
